Peregrine Prime Defending #12

This is our next step towards establishing a professional series of DotA tournaments for every team in the world which wants to participate in. Every team that wants to participate in the tournament may feel free to sign up - the team's registration doesn't even cost anything!
The signups will be open untill Sunday, 9th of May 2010 23:59 CEST.

The tournament system will be similar to SENNHEISER Prime Defending #7:

Qualifier:
There will be qualifier for each continent. Ten teams in each qualifier will come up on top to enter the next hurdle, the group stage. The games will be played in bo1

Groupstage:
In the group stage, the 40 qualifying teams will be divide into 8 groups of 5. Two highest scoring teams will move on to the playoffs while the remaining three will be eliminated.

Playoffs:
The playoffs stage will be played in double elimination format. In the winner bracket, a bo3 format will be used while bo1 format will be used in the loser bracket. The grand final will be played in bo5 with the team from the winner bracket receiving a 1:0 advantage.

Meeting Place
All teams must meet up in the channel #MeetYourMakers on IRC Quakenet.

IRC is necessary since there are so many teams, and there is no room for so many people in a Garena room. Please remember to stay on IRC at all times, so we can keep in contact. If a team do not respond on IRC then it may recieve a default loss.


Garena is mandatory for this tournament. The room for this tournament on the Garena is called PDL League Room and can be found under Warcraft III RPG - Europe - Europe.
