Alienware ADC 2010 begins in April!

After the successful ADC Season of 2009, the competition among the best of the best to be hailed as the “King of Asia DotA” is about to begin! The Alienware Asia Dota Championships 2010 is scheduled to kick of this April with more flare than the last. One important thing to note is the fact that 12 teams will be participating in the regular season. This means more chances for aspiring teams from all over Asia and Oceania to join the competition. Also, the tournament structure has been changed but what’s more is that the prizes have been increased.

The total prize money for Alienware Asia Dota Championships this year is $5550 which is over a thousand dollars higher than last year’s $4350.

Price Distribution for Alienware ADC 2010:

Champion: $1,600
Runner-up: $1,200
2nd Runner-up: $800
4th Place: $400
5th Place: $350
6th Place: $300
7th Place: $250
8th Place: $200
9th Place: $150
10th – 12nd Place: $100

Top 8 teams of ADC 2009 automatically advance to the ADC 2010 Regular Season. The 8 teams are the following:

Four unseeded teams will have to make their way through the Qualifier Stage and go through other Qualifier National Champions in order to advance to the regular season and compete with the 8 seeded teams from ADC 2009.

Registration for Alienware ADC 2010, which will be using the Garena Tournament System, opens on March 31, 2010.
